Executive Vice President, Technical Operations

Ralph del Campo has served as Enzon’s executive vice president, operations since April 2005. Mr. del Campo is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Enzon’s manufacturing, quality assurance and control, materials management, facilities, and engineering functions. Mr. del Campo has over 30 years of diverse industry experience, including serving as Enzon’s senior vice president, operations from October 2002 to April 2005.

Prior to joining Enzon, Mr. del Campo was the head of the North American operations of Elan Corporation, plc. As part of Elan’s acquisition of The Liposome Company, Mr. del Campo directed the start-up, scale-up, and ongoing operation of a sterile injectable manufacturing facility in Indianapolis. Mr. del Campo also spent over 17 years in various senior operations management positions at Bristol-Myers Squibb, where he directed the growth of new laboratories, computerized manufacturing systems, and domestic operations effectiveness.

Mr. del Campo received his B.S. in chemical engineering from the Newark College of Engineering and an M.B.A. in pharmaceutical marketing from Fairleigh Dickinson University.
